Description
Per 32T. I wonder: does DAL really NEED Kane? They already have Duchene & Dadonov, who are similar. Someone like Trenin might fit better. Also, I dont see how they can get rid of Suter.

Stars can't get rid of Suter until the buyout window opens next summer. He won't waive his NMC to go anywhere and they obviously can't send him down to the AHL. Only way to get him off the ice is to scratch him, but they still have his cap hit to deal with. Stars are stuck with him for at least the next 9-10 months.

Suter should have been bought out. Tell Nill good luck with the “I don’t understand the hate “ argument if he keeps having games like he did in Anaheim. Trash

There's a lot of politics in the NHL, so you always have to read between the lines. I'd think Nill has enough clout & tenure to admit a mistake on Suter. But its hard to see how DAL can replace Suter before the playoffs. He'd have to turn to a college FA, which is always a gamble.

The only way Nill would have admitted the mistake was through a buy out of Suter last summer. The fact that he didn’t demonstrate that he believes the stuff he said.

Now, only after 3 games, the continuous decline of Suter is in full force. As stated in other post, the only way to get rid of him this season would be through healthy scratch. Good luck with that considering the Ego of the man.

And the only way to fit another D to play Top 4 minutes will come with a trade of either Faksa or Marchment because we don’t have the space.

Nill is a very good GM. But that doesn’t mean he cannot make mistakes.
