I've been using CF to construct my fantasy team, but I can't retain salary. I also sent a player to the minors out of curiosity but now I can't recall him, or delete the player. The whole thing just feels very unintuitive. Or am I missing something here?

Retaining salary - when you click on a player to include in a trade, you will see two action buttons appear on the right side of the "receiving" or "sending" box. It will look like "+ X". If you click on the "+" it will then show a box in which you can type the dollar amount to retain in trade.

Recalling a player - click and drag the player from the minors section at the bottom to NHL roster at top.
