As nice as it would be to have Kemell NHL ready this season, my guess is he starts in the minors. Kiefer Sherwood had a good end of last season, and I could see him being an opening day starter.

Gurianov is likely 3rd line RW
Sissons is 4th line Centre
Parssinen gets some time at LW on the 3rd line
Yakov & Sherwood are the wingers on the 4th line with Sissons, to make a strong Defense first grinder line.
I think Barrie slides to 3rd pairing, with Fabbro getting 2nd pair minutes.
Glass and Novak are likely interchangeable, and wouldn't surprise me that by mid season one of them is top line and O'Reilly is 2nd line C.

Definitely a lot of moving parts in this roster... I'm intrigued to see who actually takes the next step forward.

I can see Kemell getting a 9 game tryout to start the season. He was dominant both in Finland and with Milwaukee last season, so if he puts together a strong training camp and preseason, then he’ll get a shot on the opening night roster, if for no other reason than they desperately need a goal scorer and he projects to be one in the near future. Barrie’s gonna start the season on the 2nd D pair. He’s still one of the better offensive defensemen out there and Fabbro didn’t really have that impressive of a season last year. So I doubt an 11 point defenseman will play over a 55 point defenseman overnight. Barrie’s really gonna have to struggle in order for that to happen.
