Traded, bought out, buried in the minors, I don't care, it doesn't matter either way as long as he isn't playing meaningful minutes here

Chiarot can't be bought out until next June.

Quantity over quality. But it's miles better than the Sharks D. Which is certainly nothing to brag about. ☹️

How so? 1st line is a potential 40 goal scorer paired with a 30 goal, 80 point defensively sound center with another 20-30 goal scorer that has excellent puck management skills, 2nd line has another good puck retriever paired with a very good defensive center with some offensive upside and a potential 30 goal scorer, 3rd line has a good playmaker/shooter paired with another semi-defensively responsible center and a sneaky good scorer, and 4th line even has a little offensive upside on top of the physical elements. Not necessarily disagreeing in terms of defense, but the forwards can carry at least some defensive responsibility.

I think he's just talking about the Red Wings Blueline. But maybe I'm wrong?

Just meant the D lines not the forwards! Forward group has good depth just missing 1 or 2 top end guys to make it really great! 2C probably the biggest hole there as I think Compher/Copp are more 3Cs but sharing the load between them shouldn’t be terrible. Also if Berggren can make it in the Top 6, looks a lot better too! Not to mention, Kasper probably fills that 2C role eventually.
