I like Lindholm quite a bit,
so I’d consider him at the right price
This just isn’t it though

I would like to keep him away from Boston though

1- take out Vladar, NO interest at all
2- take out Kulich, very unlikely to move him- but we do have plenty of other prospects, so I’m sure a deal could be made

It’s a tough one for the Sabres though
We have so much forward talent, & so much more coming, that the main reason for us to go after Lindholm would probably be to keep him away from Boston
Lindholm would like have to agree to take a little less $$$ though, I’d assume we wouldn’t give him more than the $7.14mil per that Thompson gets

IF we could work out an extension that both sides would agree to, then i think a trade is possible- but still unlikely

Sabres simply don't trade that much for rights to sign 29 yrs to 7x8mil deal. This is just not happening

Lindholm is the latest shiny new object that catches the eys of Buffalo ACGM's

Which is Lindholm's first four seasons, which one is Casey Mittelstadt's NHL stats?
Remember Casey was being called a bust up until the last two months of last season.
Lindholm has had two remarkable seasons in his career scoring 69 goals and 160 pts in 163 games.
Excluding his first year and breakout years Elias has been good but not Kulich, Olofsson and a first good scoring between 39 to 64 pts. each season.

The top stats are Casey, let's give him two good line mates and see what happens.
