Description

My thinking of training camp…Nemec plays another year in the AHL, no need to rush him. Let him be THE guy there. Clarke beats out Holtz for the 3rd line RW spot.

Holtz will be out on the trading block.

Akira plays top minutes in the AHL so Kallgren is backing up VV.

Re hockey Canada and McLeod, if he’s named and guilty then he’s obv off the team. Nosek will center with Lazar/Foote rotating in for each other on wing.

If Holtz is moved I hope its for Owen Tippett. I know in-division thing. Pipe dream too, OT is starting to show what he can be. Similar drafting #s, Philly being in a rebuild may be willing to swap, but they wouldwant an add.

Reportedly they want him in Utica getting a starter workload. Difference between NHL and AHL isn't so pronounced for goalies as it is for skaters.

It would be a massive shock if Clarke takes Holtz's spot. Holtz's ceiling is far higher, so even if Clarke looks slightly better in camp (which is possible but unlikely), it would still benefit the Devils in the medium-long term to give the spot to Holtz. Clarke will be the first callup and will get a chance next year.

Lazar isnt a LW so he wont be rotating with Foote.... why do ppl not understand positions. Devils like Holtz alot he isnt going anywhere. Until they release the team canada stuff with the Names, stop talking about it. Also if Nosek beats out Foote do we trade him or are we gonna go MIA, keep the same energy you give a 22yr old to Foote when he
fails which he will but again you guys a pathetic.

I know right, the panic of the devs fans and everyone else just wanting to trade for a goalie. Like noone made this much noise about Swayman being a fulltime back up at the age of 22-23 but why do we panic over Schmid being the backup at age 23-24.

Seravalli. Take it for what you will, it makes sense if they plan on adding another goalie.

He's the absolute worst. I'm find adding a third goalie, but I have zero reason to trust Frank Surely-Lying. Go back to Bratt being traded and so much cold reading he does. Guy STINKS.

Just heard from my friend who writes for THW and a couple other sites, he said he heard the same thing from a legit source
