Am with you on the forwards…most those guys would be on my list too. But Trouba and Xhekaj kind of nuked it for me.

Trouba is at least a useful NHLer, though not close to an 8mil one. Xhekaj is just.... so bad. Like in addition to being a dangerous player, he's also just clearly not close to being an NHL calibre player.

Y’all Sens fans scared of Xhekaj lets face it. Don’t really care if he’s bad. He still has an offensive touch to some degree and brings something no one else brings. Plus he can hit which sometimes can change the whole momentum.

Naw we don’t need another Southern dump. Only non Cali teams that should be in the South are CAR TBL DAL, not even Vegas

That $8m is haunting. People always decrease Trouba’s play on ice because of his huge overpay. Like he’s actually pretty good defensively and has some offensive upside, just so slow

Nahhh, need more southern markets. Markets like Carolina, Dallas, Tampa, Florida, Vegas have become the lifeblood of the league. There's already 7 teams in Canada and only 6 of them play in NHL-caliber arenas as it is. Send give the south more teams. Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte, Santa Fe/Albuquerque. Give them each a new team. Southern hockey is just better hockey

Naw brodie, hockey is the sport of ice. Sure its growing interest in the South, but up here, its a religion. Canada religion: 2% others, 3% christian, 95% hockey

Yeah, but the NHL needs new markets. If they're going to give a city a third team, it should be Atlanta, not Quebec

Kastelic handled Xhekaj just fine when they fought. They've also got Imama and McKewan who will play NHL games. Xhekaj is one of the toughest players in the league, but he doesn't impact a game as much as Habs fans seem to think.

Again, your right 100%. He isn’t as impactful as most of us think. But its the ways he impact that matters so much, since he is one of the fews that can do it. Plus lets face it, he still remains one of the better “goons” in the league when it comes to actually playing hockey
