I doubt Nashville would be a team interested in guentzel but that type of return (high round picks and you get players) is what I’d be looking for if PIT can’t extend him

Detroit isn't giving up the extra 4th for 2 years of Petry making $1,500,000 more. Chiarot for Petry is more than fair. Take out the 4th and Detroit accepts.

Pens pass hard on that DET deal. Petry is still a good player. Just a little overpaid. Chiarot is awful.
