LW is Pacific
C is Central
RW is Atlantic
LD Is Metro
Scratches are 1 team from every division who could make playoffs and take out the wildcard
IR are the 2nd teams from a division I think could make it if that division is that competitive
LTIR is if there is a 3rd team I think has a chance in their division
Taxi Squad are teams that would be going for Macklin Celebrini and Cole Eiserman ( Top to bottom is best odds to worst)
Trying to use captains
People are trippin💀. MTL is no where near the worse team in the league. They prob draft 8-12, not top 5
Well they 6th and I don't think they make it to wild card spot. The whole Atlantic division is very competitive this season. MTL just has the short end of the stick out of every team in that div

MTL finished 5th to last, last year, however, they were the most injured team in the league, playing a half AHL team for a solid 30 games. They also get 1 year older, so Slaf, Suzuki, Caufield, Dach, Guhle, ect, are gonna be a heck better than last year. They won’t make the playoffs, but they are true competition, even in the Atlantic

They could be better than some teams in other divisions but looking at the Atlantic they will either be last or 2nd last.

Again, maybe in the division, but no matter what division they are in, they are better than Zona, Chicago, Philly, SJ, CLB (D is still way to young), WSH probably. I think the lowest they finish is 6th to last, but not lower

looks like you agree with me the whole time bud. Read my description. I have SJ as the worst team with the best odds and from SJ down goes 1st worst to 2nd worst in PHI and 3rd worst is ANA and so on and so forth.

montreal did barely anything to improve. you know every others team players will improve too right? not just montreal?

Exactly. Like ARI has definitely became way more competitive and CHI will be interesting to see just cause Bedard has made their rebuild shorter and ANA will still be bad but you could say in a year or two they'll be competitive again

Improvement doesn’t mean trading for players and getting FAs. It means getting better. And by simply aging one of the youngest teams in the league, that improves a team significantly . Thats not to mention that I think they will genuinely be much more healthy than last year, which could change a lot of things…
I don’t see Boston missing that bad. They are a slam dunk to do worse. No way they put up 65 wins and 135 points. However, their defense is very good, they have players they can hold it down and also players who can score. They have big bodies to help with hitting, and also a little guys who can get that puck in the corner. Our goal tending is the same as last year again no way Ullmark does what he did this year, but he can win hockey games just like Swayman. Our offense is definitely worse. But we still have players that can get points. I see Boston being a playoff team just like I said last year.

BOS have great D core and goalie tandem but the need C depth. If they get Bergeron and Krecji back or just Bergeron I'd think they would be really competing but until then they might drop quite a bit

but like all the bottoms.team have young players that will age. time passes the same for everyone. Look at colombus as just one exemple. they added severson and provorov and fantilli. and ALL their prospect have aged ( sillinger johnston, jiricek, laine, marchenko, boqvist + there 2 russians i keep forgetting their names).

If I had to pick on which team would do better next season between MTL and CBJ I'd pick CBJ. Their team looks great on paper but it still doesn't matter because that doesn't include how player feel about things and coaching and all that. I'm scared for CBJ with Babcock behind the bench.
