Description
Assuming that he wants out & wants to win a cup, Price being packaged to Edmonton for a huge haul, instantly makes Edmonton the cup favorite from the West. Getting a top 6 center who's not getting the icetime he should in EDM, along with Talbot and a good defensive prospect in return for Price, Plekanec and Byron instantly boosts EDM and rounds out MTL's group a little more. Grabbing Scandella from Minnesota to address defense in the short term seems like a wise bet, I feel like MIN's asking price will come down to earth along the likes with what Calgary paid to get a better defense man in Hamonic. Only problem i see with this plan is that i doubt MTL will be able to resign Radulov, so could see him walk. If he does I doubt MTL will be opposed to extra cap space & internal promotion into top 6 role (Lehkonen).

Im all about trading Price!! But obviously theres certain facts with the trade above. Will Talbot move his NMC? (I wouldn't if i were him). Is EDM on Prices list of teams part of his M-NTC? Can EDM afford Mac Drai and Price?

Playing this game for a bit, why would the Habs make it easy on Chiarelli? If you're moving Price, you're rebuilding. So I don't want RNH and Cam Talbot, I'd want Puljujarvi, Brossoit, Benson, and a pick or two.
