To summarize in a nutshell:
Columbus
Trades: Laine, Johnson, Boqvist, Texier, Foudy and 1st Round 2025
Receives: Nylander, Keller, Vejmelka and Lafferty

Arizona
Trades: Keller and Vejmelka
Receives: Laine, Murray, Robertson, Foudy and 1st Round 2025 (Columbus)

Toronto
Trades: Nylander, Robertson, Lafferty and Murray
Receives: Johnson, Boqvist and Texier

This trade will make Columbus into contenders immediately next season in just one shot. Toronto gets cap relief and accepts that it will be core 3 is what they can afford going forward. Arizona for facilitating this gets Columbus 1st Round Pick 2025 and Nick Robertson.

No chance Columbus agrees. I prefer Laine to Keller, but even giving the latter a slight edge, no way they part with six years of inexpensive Kent Johnson for one of Nylander. PLUS Boqvist, Teixier, and Foudy AND a 1st round pick?! They bring in a solid (not spectacular) goalie but this does nothing to solve the albatross contract with their other G.

CBJ does need to pull from their D and wing pools (likely Peeke or Bean over Boqvist, and the exact forwards could be debated) to add elite quality, long term assets, or subtract salary. But Johnson would require a similar return, and the 1st round pick would need to send Elvis out of town and/or provide more than a one season prayer.
