I love these kind of signings. Dude was elite in the KHL last year and is returning to see if he's NHL quality.

Intriguing, guy has been really good in the KHL. Good veteran for Laval with some NHL upside imo

Yeah that makes perfect sense, Might have bottom 6 upside as well.

There's no upside. He's a first line AHLer just like Wideman is a 7th D even after being the best defender in the KHL.
I'm guessing Maillet, Mysak, Kidney, Stephens are our four center to start the year.

Widemen has played 110 NHL games in the past 2 seasons. I'm not saying Maillet will be a top 6 forward, but he'll be able to play NHL games if he's needed too, same as Widemen.
