Hey Preds Fans,

So with Ekholm having 3 years of salary left, that leaves 2 more retention spots available. In my opinion, I see 3 players who are likely to be moved at some point, with retention likely being needed to make the move work.

Who do you think are the likely options?

(EDIT NOTE: Kyle Turris is Buyout, not retained).

I believe Nashville only has one spot left because they also have Kyle Turris on the books for next 5 years.

I misspoke in my initial comment. I meant to say Turris being bought out... Ekholm being retained salary is different transaction and doesn't count towards the 3 spots available.

Indeed he did... would have liked at least a 4th round pick instead of a pending AHL UFA... oh well
