Haha I've mocked trading him to the Sabres a bunch of times before. Just went with somewhere different this time. IMO a Kolesar like player is exactly what Buffalo needs.

Eh... Howden, Stephenson, Stone is really effective on its own, and is where Howden is best. Misfits are the misfits, they play great together. Doro is just taking Kolesars spot. A line of Barbs, Eichs, and Cat would be physicality from Barbashev, amazing playmaking from Eichel and sniping from Debrincat. The holy trifecta, and Barbs and Eich are great defensively too.

Simply a casualty of roster management. Want to give guys like Dorofeyev playing time. Could always scratch him, but for Keegans sake I think it's better for him to be moved than to sit in the press box.

Less quantity, more quality wanted. Nicolas Roy would have to be coming back, or pass.

I have liked more pretty much 90% of the returns for ADB in other ACGMs

Honestly would be dumb for us to do this anyways. Roy+Barbashev > Cat

You wouldn't get a player like Roy. This is a pretty realistic, and honestly generous package for Cat if he wants out.

Your offer is more than underwhelming, it gets beaten by everyone else

Amadio : we waived him and you picked him up
Cotter : very low value
Brisson : late 1st in 2020, value went down since
32nd OA : very late first
2nd NEXT year : not great as well


We don't really want or need any of Amadio, Cotter or Brisson. You're not going to get DeBrincat for basically three 2nd round picks lol

Saying a 3rd liner is untouchable for a star player is probably as ridiculous
