What’s funny is that this proposal is so stupid a trade for Sidney Crosby is low-key the SECOND stupidest trade in the proposal.

What’s flabbergasting is that this poster believes that Washington (who has Darcy Kuemper and Charlie Lindgren who both had better numbers than Murray last season) will trade for Matt Murray (at his full salary) for positive value!!!

No one in the entire League is going to trade for Murray without a minimum 1st Rd Pick attached to him AND salary retained. Murray has been downright unplayable and has salary and contract term remaining for this season, who trades for Matt Murray at his full salary and why? What a horrible, horrible proposal and absolutely insane valuation of Matt Murray. WSH tells you to get lost and go **** yourself.

Murray is basically untradeable.

Nylander for Crosby is still a fair trade I don't care about all the politics that everyone is latching on to even though yes that is why it won't happen and it's understandable, but the element of real unpredictability that exist in the NHL yet everyone believes they know for sure about what will and won't happen is still why you never know and need to chill about on the absolutisms
