Description
Canes fans need to realize this season was successful and need to calm down. We reached the ECF WITHOUT Svech or Patches. Some players went quite when we needed them most, BUT they are young and have more experience after this run. We are still a young team and our window is no where near closed.

As for next season:
Andersen proved he is a very good goalie in the playoffs (1.58 gap and 0.937 sv%) he earns a new contract and Pyotr backs him up.
Staal and Patches come back on a team friendly deals wanting to win a cup. (I think we see Patches continue to not have good health and move to LTIR and retire, he has played 92 games in the last 3 seasons).
Fast earns a contract based on playoff performances.
Puljujarvi earns a prove it contract (potential trade bait) but he has been a targer of the org for years and plays well defensivly, could compete and earn a spot.
I personally would love to see Nino come back to finish out the 3rd line (trade deadline), although Martinook is capable in that role.
I think the Canes look for a LHD for 3rd pair and 2PP, not sure who, it Ghost is cheap enough he is a decent option.
That leaves a large amount of cap to start to look to extend the big guns (Aho, Jarvis, Necas, Turbo, Skjei, Pesce)

Very reasonable, Nino would be a spectacular pickup for the third line, can easily be a legit top 6 F if injuries strike again. Tho as a pens fan I really hope you let us get Tulsky and he brings in Freddy.

Nino played on the 1st or 2nd line for WPG since they picked him up at the trade deadline. Would need to 2nd round picks. A 1st is too much to ask for, but only 1 2nd round pick isn't enough for a guy the Jets need to hang onto.

No to a 4th. Even the 3rd is a maybe. The 2nd round pick this year is going to be so far down that it's probably not going to be very useful.

How about the 2nd round pick you got from the Flyers for the 2024 draft?

I would say a 2nd and a 3rd is the max given the jets got him for a 2nd

I know what they paid. They got him for a bargain. He has proved to be more valuable than many other than me knew. I've been a fan of his for years.

The pick you got from PHA. The 2nd round in 2024 that was originally theirs. Deal? If not, WPG will hang onto him as they are going to need a player like him in their re-tool / rebuild to help mold new players.

Where is the 3rd left defenseman? Hurricanes are probably going to resign Shayne Gostisbehere because despite his defensive struggles he is still an great puck moving defenseman with great skating ability where he put up 3 goals and 7 assists for 10 points in just 23 regular season games for the Hurricanes. Plus, he is a veteran defenseman who can also quarterback the Hurricanes power play if needed.
