Boeser isn't just a guy with a cap hit, he's produced when healthy and needs a fresh start. This could be looked back at as a great deal because of the upside of Boeser. It allows us to take a slight risk using our cap space while not giving up an incredibly important draft pick. Plus we can plug Myers in at the 3rd RHD slot to pair with a youngster instead of Zaitsev or Regula.
