Does a guy like Myers even care though? He doesn't seem that competitive. And we no he is error prone. The team has to actually want you too. Meaning his current team or any team that would trade for him.

It is the default to think all players want to win the cup but to varying degrees. Some literally can't sleep if they lose, some are happy to go play golf for the summer. Thats just how it is. If Myers is so hell bent on winning then he probably wants out of Vancouver, if not then he's probably open to a trade as well.

If the Canucks come to Myers and says look we don't have a spot for you on this team, we can work with you but the teams showing the most interest are Chicago and Anaheim I don't see why he wouldn't go. The thing of it too is that he would likely be dealt at the deadline to a contender anyway especially if that was his burning desire..
