Canucks pass easily, we get older and worse with this deal zero reason for us to do it

Sharks already have 7 LHD on nhl contracts. Not adding another. Easy no.

That Miller trade is bad. Low offer and the pieces make no sense.

Canucks decline. Miller is miles better than Hall and plays the more valuable position. Canucks also have zero need to add more expensive wingers.

Change the 3rd to a 1st and I'd do it. It's about getting off of Miller's 7 year deal at this point!

I'd also do it for the first. Miller SAYS he can play C, but honestly he is far better as a winger. Not responsible enough for top-6 C role so if Boston is taking his contract off our hands based on thinking hes a solid C then let them live with that fantasy hahaha

Miller's deal may not age well, but he' still currently a point per game player. Those don't grow on trees, and you don't just give them away for scraps because you think their contract will age badly 5 years down the line. I do agree that I'd be a lot more intrigued with a 1st instead of a 3rd. Rumours were the Pens offered two 1sts at the deadline, don't see why we would go from that to a 3rd and a couple of meh pieces.
