Not sure why everyone tries to pawn off higher AAV wingers to the Blues. Our need is very clear to be a LHD that can play top pairing. We also have limited cap space.

This deal is good for the Blues. But it makes matters even more complicated trying to fix our defense. We have a good stable of young forward prospects and honestly pretty good wingers on the roster. We have a bakers dozen 4-7 LHD and nothing above.
