this trade has been rumored for a while and the price for graves will be a very competitive this off season

I think Newhook should sign a 1 year minimum $$ deal like Jost did after his ELC was up. I don’t think the Avs will go above 2m on a 2 year deal at this point.

That was until bennett had been far worth more to his team that girard would be. Yes we need defensive help but bennett is needed much more than girard skill which could be found in ufa and with plenty of cap space they’ll be happy to give graves 5-6 mil

The basis of a solid hockey trade but I'd say you're off on Newhook & Byram's contracts. Shattenkirk isn't a good fit and E-Rod will want more. Also MacDermid as a regular....yikes!
