Same predation as Leaves Bolts, the two lower competition series: in this case Edmonton in 5.

McJesus tilts the ice too much. It’s unstoppable. He doesn’t even need to actually put up points as it’s just too much to gameplan against for a team that doesn’t have an answer for it. It’s like paper rock scissors where paper beats rock - nobody really understands why that happens, but it happens every time regardless.

This is the series I feel that will surprise us

A healthy LAK team with a focused Korpisalo could honestly play spoiler

EDM got the firepower but man goaltending once again could decide things as Korpisalo still is the record holder for playoff saves at 85.

Idk Korp did make 85 saves in a game

He to me is the potential spoiler factor

But that is if hes dialed in and LAK can be healthy for once lul

Nah even as a Blackhawks fan I really can’t say we stopped McDavid, he was still a monster that series

But the Oilers couldn’t stop Kubalik and Toews

The Oilers much better and deeper team then they where in that series, we don't have Chiasson a top 6 winger and Haas as a 3rd line center anymore as an example

it was more of the Av's defense then it was Francouz and plus the av's got worse and the Oilers got better Hellebuyck is a really good goalie who they might face again if he is able to carry the Jets past the Knights but there where 3 overtime games in that 2021 series and the Oilers have drastically improved at everything since then

I think it was the Doughty knee-on-knee, although they aren't saying (it went unpenalized).
