He's not going anywhere, let alone as a gift to the conference rival. Dude is a team leader, and a quasi-enforcer and does his job well for dirt cheap.

Flames would want your highest (lotto protected ofc) 1st from this year or you need to keep adding. Pick 24+ and a late 3rd a year from now for a 1st pair defensman is really underwhelming

I think you may have some recency bias.

He doesn't usually get these niggles so often. I think he went like 73 last season and played a similar percentage of the COVID shortened season.
