mtl is not retaining salary for 4 more season on anderson and we dont want to trade our speed with size either. Far too many small guys already... We will build around the veteran like anderson and Matheson who both love it in montreal and montreal like them.. Neither is going to be traded nor savard next year.. You need vets around the kids and those plus gally are the vets we are keeping.. Now Armia or Hoffman can go but the others are staying. Hughes has already said this.. To get anderson or matheson you would have to overpay because we have no interest in trading them.

hart would be risky . i prefer to go with youth in goal at least till we are ready to contend..perfect
I will tell you how the smart habs think.. we are not trading anderson... We dont have enough speed and size and anderson is the type of guy you win in the playoffs with and our management know this...we are ok with his 5.5 mil cap hit the only issue is we are not in the playoffs right but we will be challenging for a spot next year... maybe not making it but of course if we get dubois then our chance go up...
