The magic of sunshine tax breaks beaches & deep playoff wins can do wonderful things in negotiations

Killorn isn't staying in Tampa for 5 x $2,800,000 he'll get way more on the open market. Wouldn't surprise me if Yzerman doesn't go after him this summer. And Varlamov gets at least 2 x $2,500,000 or 2 x $3,000,000 he's not taking no 2 x $900,000 from Tampa.

Not that cheaply, Good luck thinking that Killorn signs for less than $3,000,000 per for 5 years.

I don't think that team looks attractive for deep playoff wins. It's the young teams with cap that are attractive now if it means winning. I just don't see how Florida be so good next season, paying some players more when the cap just goes up just 1m. Same with Boston, Bergeron and Krejci making 1.5m each....that can't go on forever.
Sabres/Wings/Sens might be the very attractive to players now.....upcoming teams with cap.

Have you not heard Killorn talk about how much he loves the organization, loves the area. How he's retiring here yada yada he might be the guy that surprises everyone.

If the Bolts do look to move Seabrook, the Hawks would probably be in on that. Helps them get to the cap floor and would be great to see him "officially" retire as a Hawk next April.
