That's still more than any comparable recent trade. You're asking for:
1) A 22 year old former 3rd OA pick who is starting to put it together at the NHL level.
2) A 21 year old former 1st round pick.
3) A later lottery pick in a deep draft.
That is, by some margin, more than Meier, Chychrun and Horvat cost. You're getting closer to the Eichel price-tag with that proposal, even if its not the same quality.
Montreal's main interest in Dubois would be because he reportedly wants to sign in Montreal. They'd be willing to accelerate that process, but they're rebuilding, they are not going to overpay for that privilege. And its pretty clear that if you want to take that little salary back, you're not going to have a robust market for him.
