Lindholm would be amazing and the value is probably what it would take, but I feel the team is better balanced when Ek plays 3C and that line can be the big line (BEEF) with Hartman doing so well at 1C as he doesn't really fit anywhere else, Lindholm/MoJo/Boldy would be a great second line scoring option. Freddy G gets placed as 4C which is probably best for him anyway.

The juice would not be worth the squeeze on lindholm. Just way too much to give up.

No that value is not enough, especially with retention. Yurov or Faber would need to be added. Right now that offer is on par with Hagel

Disagree... Hagal got (2) 1sts from Tampa which are most likely picks 25-32 in '23 and '24. Rossi is a top 10 prospect in the game and MN '23 pick is probably 18-22 with multiple 2nd rounders and a very useful roster plays at a good cap hit for 2 more years. The value is significantly better than Hagel. Maybe a lower level prospect could be added but not anyone in MN top 7.

Who's ranking Rossi top 10? THW has him at 22 and Scott Wheeler has him at 19. Like thats still good but were talking a top 15 center in the league for 2 playoff runs retained to 3M. This package is not enticing enough

Don’t ever quite THWs again if you want to be considered legitimate around here! That’s the single dumbest hockey rag on the planet! Most of the time they are just throwing **** against the wall to see if something sticks… Their player assessments and trade ideas are way off almost every time!

Ok and Scott Wheeler? Is he also an idiot? Maybe you can provide me with a list that you deem worthy

And Wheeler ranks him 19th like i said, that's not top 10. He's a good prospect no doubt but I would never consider this for Lindholm

None of this has anything to do with my statement.

I’m a big Lindholm fan and your package for him is fair, but I don’t like the timing of this trade. Lindholm is 28 years old and realistically the Wild aren’t anywhere near a legit Cup contender and probably won’t be until he is past his prime.
To make a franchise altering trade like this, I wouldn’t target anyone who is older than Kaprizov…but that’s just me.
