If I were Dallas, I'd take Jonas Brodin over Hamonic for the 3OA pick.

Colorado would not even return Garth Snow's phone call for a deal like that.

So the #3 and #15 pick and a 25 goal scorer is not enough for a 30 goal scorer. Colorado would take this deal in a heartbeat

JeffreyPatty is right. Deal currently on the table for Duchene per TSN is hamonic ALONE. That deal would be taken in a heartbeat. This is the link confirming the offer on the table. https://eyesonisles.com/2017/06/12/new-york-islanders-daily-front-runners-matt-duchene/

Duchene is immensely talented, but one of the most over-rated players in the NHL.

Yes he would. I'm not an Isles fan, but Brock Nelson scored 45 points (Duchene had 41 and was a -34) and a #3 overall pick and the #15 overall. If Sakic really wants to rebuild around MacKinnon, this would be a great deal for Colorado.

That said, I don't think Dallas would give the #3 pick for Hamonic, a shut-down Dman, though he has a nice 3-year deal..

Joe Sakic has stated numerous times that he wants a D man in return for Matt Duchene no way does Nelson+ 2 1st get you Duchene it would take at least Hamonic to get the deal done.
