Trading for Kane seems more like a nightmare than dream

All jokes aside, I’d love to acquire either Chychrun or Kaner. Chychrun would finally give us a great puck moving D and Kaner next to Barzal would be extremely fun to watch.

Tarasenko to NYR makes the Kane dream a LITTLE more realistic. But it would have to involve cap going out. Bailey makes sense for that. So you still need to come up with a 1st and solid/young piece . I'm not as high on Wahlstrom as others. I think he's a 3rd line, PP specialist who can get 20ish goals a season. If a team like Chicago sees more in him than that and a piece they can build around I'd include Wahlstrom in a deal (for Kane or someone else) if Bailey was off the books too

Patrick Kane is terrible nowadays with a broken hip. Claude Giroux is and was miles better than him in the same scenario last year. A player like Giroux would have been awesome, Kane not so much. He’s slow, a defense black hole and lazy out there, sorry.

I don't know enough about the hip injury, but he's straight up playing depressed in Chicago. I don't think he is washed. Had 92 points last year. Just unenthusiastic about where that team is right now. Put him on a line with Horvat-Barzal and I think he cooks MFers

He's going to need hip surgery. Trading for Kane would be a bad idea for anyone right now.
