Why is Caufield still not on the injury list.

Noticed Caufield is still listed as healthy on the Habs roster? Anyone knows why?

He’s listed as healthy because he hasn’t officially been placed on IR

Teams with cap and especially with have large potential bonuses should keep a player on IR, not LTIR. That was the reason the Habs traded Weber to Vegas. They could put up with Dadadov contract for a year, but teams with large bonuses potential are best to trade LTIR players. In Vegas case who do not have bonuses, it was their advanatage to take Weber on LTIR for years and get rid of Dadanov for a year.
