Don't see Rangers doing that knowing they might not be able to bring Meier back after this year

Maybe, Maybe not, but they have been rumored to be interested and that is the kind of package the sharks will want

Meier will not return Laf+. I know that is the value that is being reported, or that's the type of package the Sharks want, but I just don't see it.

Im not sure why everyone is undervaluing Meier still, he's on pace for almost 50 goals, plays a very physical game and can carry a line from the wing, also a major power play threat.
