I am no fan of the Vancouver Canucks. They are a team I have never really had interest in, and as a Leafs fan, I only watch a game or two with the Canucks this season. That being said, tonight's game may be the single most heartbreaking thing I have experienced as a hockey fan. Bruce is a fantastic coach and an even greater person. The beginning of his tenure as Canucks head coach ushered in an era of hope, making this team look genuinely good. I cannot fathom how cruel and cold you have to be to publicly oust a guy like Bruce who constantly gives it his all. If management thinks Tocchet will be any better, they are sorely mistaken. This whole debacle is a real shame and I can't wait to see who the next scapegoat is. For the fandom's sake, I really do hope something gives. Bruce there it is

This aged even more poorly than Seth Jones's contract

Beloved coach? If he doesn't get another coaching gig by next season considering all the other coaching vacancies, we'll see how "beloved" he actually is
