OK, We'll bite. But It doesn't work without a cap dump, so Kerfoot would have to go back to VAN as well

Forgot about that pesky thing known as the salary cap, seems like just Kerfoot wouldn’t make them compliant either, at least the trade value is close in terms of future.

The fact they haven't come in here guns blazing must mean that they cannot come up with an argument against it...

yOu dOnT VaLuE Bo EnOughH!!!!
WHERE LIL? WHERE NIFES? WHERE MATTHEWS?

On topic. Good trade, I don't hate it. I'd figure Vancouver would have to add "slightly" to add Kerfoot for cap reasons.

Like a late round pick or a player with not a lot of value

Yeah I'm referring to like a 5th, or one of our not as critical 4th liners or depth players.

Switch out Hirvonen for Minten and I like this proposal. Could include Muzzin’s contract to make the $$$ work. He’s likely not playing again.

Minten looks like a steal in the 2nd round.

I don’t believe the Leafs will include Knies in any trade proposal for a rental player? Organizationally they’re thin at LW and he’s their top prospect.

Schenn gets too 4 minutes on BAN, he’d be a 6th/7th on the Leafs which is fine. Can never have too much D depth for the playoffs.
