Somehow I doubt you can have Liljegren without a 2017 1st.

ROFL. I also dont believe he will fall that far. Defenseman are in demand and The NHL watched the Sabres pass on 2 solid defense prospects last year and look what happened to them

I do not see the Sabres trading away that #8 pick. The deal would have to be really sweet in order to move that pick. They need to take a top D in this draft. I think they end up with one of the following.... Liljergren, Makar or Heiskanen.

I think you are giving up too much in the Vancouver deal. I personally like Kane's game and am very excited to see Fasching play full time in the NHL.
