dont like the trades or signing Kris Russell. if you're giving up Nuge and retaining salary for a >40pt winger i should hope you get at least a 1st round pick too.

Jones might make the NHL as a bottom-6 player, he's not a goal scorer, Wild have better prospects of their own. Puljujarvi has done nothing yet, he's interesting and has potential (Will he be better than Nino is now, time will tell). mid 1st is meh this year. The Wild gave theirs up because it's a weak draft and they have some decent depth coming up.

1 for 1 Dumba or Nino for Puljujarvi is probably about even. 1st+Jones doesn't get the other one. Wild are taking all the risk 2 young, team controlled, quality NHL players for 3 question marks.

Caleb Jones is a defenseman, FYI.

As Wildfan5611 pointed out, Jones is a defenceman. So you might want to do your research prior to posting... anyhow, I think the premise of this trade is based on the fact that the Wild will have some difficulty protecting both Nino and Dumba without losing another quality piece; this gives them three draft-exempt assets. That is worth something to Minnesota too.
