Description

Some dreaming here, but not 100% impossible.

Bieksa waives NMC for Expansion Draft.
Ducks move Fowler+Ritchie to TBL for Drouin+2017 1st Rounder (or a 2nd).
Retain Eaves, who wants multi-year deal.
Send 2nd Rounder to MIN for Nino, who's unwanted there for some reason.
Cogs left unprotected for Vegas. Not worth $3M any more, unfortunately.
Enroth a capable and cheap backup for Gibson.
Larsson kept on NHL roster.
Kerdiles stays up.
Jones/Steel get good looks on early call-ups.
Oh, and Stoner bought out.

Random question what is the word on Despres. Is there a chance he plays again. He was a promising young D man until the concussions.

No official word, except Bob Murray recently said that it will soon be made clear. My bet is that he's going to retire and move into an off-ice position with some team. It's not worth risking his health. Sad to see but probably for the best.
