I'm not sure what Jim Nill is waiting for. IMO Roberson needs to be signed ASAP. The player still has 1 year to go to have Arb rights, so if you can't agree on a Long term number, just sign him to a cheap bridge contract, and if the team totally low-balls him, he'll pull a Tkachuk and force a trade.
