Without looking, I'm assuming that Carrick is eligible to be picked in the expansion draft, so what would the point of that deal be? It's then Kap + Bracco for Vatanen.

Vatanen going to be out 6 months or longer. He needs off season shoulder surgery. Lindholm will be out 4-5 months for the same reason. This news changes everything and makes it even harder for the ducks
