Description

Risk of Ryan and Samorukov being claimed on waivers. If Foegele doesn't look good in the pre-season, it could be him being waived down and Ryan staying on the big club.

Update 1-Oct: Benson has outplayed Griffith and McKegg. Hamblin has looked good but doesn't need waivers, so down he goes. PTOs Virtanen has looked ineffective-likely no offer. Demers has looked so-so. He might be signed as a veteran depth D-man, to be waived to send down to mentor and lead in Bakersfield. Neimelainen has looked good and Samorukov is starting to play better too. Both have yet to do enough to take a job from Broberg or Murray.

Update: After 2 Pre-season games. Griffith has not impressed. Neither has Virtanen. Hopefully, Griffith picks things up. Otherwise will likely be swapped with Benson, which would mess up the whole lefty-righty thing. Benson has had bad luck finishing, but at least brings a bit of edge and you can see that he really wants to make it as a regular in the big show.

Update 5-Oct: Benson was having a good camp, but for some reason has bad Karma. He's out week to week, so he's replaced with Malone. Shore has played well also, but would have to outplay Ryan and Janmark to make the opening night roster (therefore unlikely).
