No reason to trade Barrie. right handed OFD that can actually play defense are few and far between, especially at his discount. this team has no need for top 6 players and Drouin isnt even a top 6 forward on this team if you did add him. youre high if you think colorado takes that deal. girard deal is a fleece for ken holland but it doesnt matter since you got fleeced on all 3 other trades.

I will say it is a creative deal and they are very rare on here and while I agree I think its at least thoughtful and pretty close. Poolparty is worth about a 2nd tops (per reports) and Kaut for a 4th is fair. So that gets down to Broberg for Girard which is still pretty largely one sided. I think it targets a lot of areas for both teams well however it doesn't quite do it enough. This is really just one of those times that highlights how hard it is to make trades.

LOL. Edmonton has zero interest in Hoffman, most of the Barrie trades are from MTL fans. If it has to be cap-for-cap, you won't get Barrie for less than Dvorak.
