Well as you can see this clears up space for two of our promising defensive prospects and holes are filled by Campbell and Vatenen. Also Carlson has one year left and personally I'm not a big fan of Orlov. This brings an element of young talent to the Caps.

Yeah but I don't think you want to sign Campbell for 3 million. Plus he has said if he doesn't resign with Chicago he's likely retiring.

Someone like Hainsey or Polak could fit in as well
