    Kapanen and Nielsen are definitely not spare parts, Kapanen is a PPG player as a 20 year old in the AHL, that's insane production and he has great comparables

    The Leafs are going to rid themselves of JVR in the future because he will cost too much with all the upcoming guys coming of their ELC. Then you sign Niedereiter for 5.6m? Bad long term.

    The Leafs are rebuilding, I don't understand all this love for Tanev. Can't Tanev be traded to another team besides the Leafs which might show his value.
