Very interesting set up, many of them on term too, we'll see how it plays out when Berniers and Wright contracts come up

If they can Lock up Beniers at 8X8 or something like that and then bridge Wright they are going to have tons of cap flexability for the next 6 years.

No doubt, something to worry about next offseason

Well I wouldn't want to move any of the guys in the top 6 anyways that have NTCs, Wennberg will be expired by the time Berniers comes up, same with Schultz. All the others are fine imo

Reminds me of the Islanders, no established/consistent top guy, a couple of prospects/young players that have good upside and the majority of the team making between $3 and $6 mil

Except the good upside prospects are both future elite centres

Kraken biggest issue was scoring and they addressed it in a big way. A whole new line of top six F. Anxious to see how they look!

They need a transition dman like girard to take advantage of all these forwards they've acquired. I'm unsure how much they'll see the puck if Vince Dunn is making breakout passes

As an Avs fan, I highly doubt the Avs will trade Girard this season. He’s a legit top 4 D on a great contract and 2 2nds ain’t enough. I know everyone on this site thinks they need to trade Girard to clear cap for Kadri but I think the Avs are going to be fine without him.
