His list of teams was a list of where he would sign 8 years. Calgary gets significantly more for St Louis in a Tkachuk deal.

St. Louis only gets to sign him if they acquire him, and they are bidding against 4 or more other teams, two of which are divisional rivals.

True, but I could see a team like NJ being able to offer more value for a year of Tkachuk than the actual teams on his list. I mean this trade has to happen before the arbitration hearing and the teams on his list would have to be creative to create some cap space. You are right tho

Bolduc is a stud, but I understand, it's not much immediate help. Would the higher of the 2 first rounders in 2023 add enough value for you (instead of 2024 2nd)
