Neither team is on board with this. Not even a little bit.

What is with the insanity of these PLD trades. None of them make any sort of sense

There is no sens to give the 2023 first round draft as this is probably a top 5 one and the draft of 2023 is one of the best from few years.

Mtl can't take that much cap hit if they want to resign Dubois. Also Dubois would probably ask to be play with Anderson as they are from Colombus together.

Dvorak and Drouin could be included to removed some cap space and give back roster player while they are not mega stars, they still can play role on middle 6 lineups.

If a pick is add into the trade, the most logical one is First round pick from Floride.

In the case of a prospect the choice would be between them: Norlinder, Struble, Ylonen, Mysak, Mailloux, Leskinen or Tuch.

And finally as Dubois and is agent Pat Brisson have been on media alot and have reduced some value and remove some ability to Jets GM to negotiate on a trade for the player. Dubois clan have told that they want to go UFA in next 2 years because they want to choose there next destination. So keeping that in mind, no one would want to pay high premium price for a rental 2 years knowing he won't re-sign longterm with them.

LOL!!! Jets are not in a position of leverage with the HABS. Remove the 1st rd pick and put the retention of Drouin then HABS would consider
