No shot Donato and Dahlen cost that much, and Bergeron costs more (plus hes a Bruin for life)

Yandle needs to retire, he's done. So don't sign him.

Klingberg is a bad fit. He'll sign with a team going to the playoffs.

Sprong was a Duck already for about two weeks (exaggeration). They couldn't get him out of town fast enough and I don't ever see them wanting him back. Frankly from what I saw from him back then I'm surprised he's stayed in the NHL this long. Bubble AHL level player. Same could be said for Donato.

Wideman was also in the Ducks org before. He couldn't crack the NHL lineup and played the entire season in the AHL. Where he belongs... Montreal didn't end up in last place all by accident.

Gotcha.

Well, as a Ducks fan, I'd say:
-Bergeron ain't coming. He's a B for life.
-I certainly wouldn't give Donato anything like that.
-Chris Wideman isn't worth anything close to that.
-"Meh" on the Klingberg contract...probably the closest, but having 3 offensive RD's probably isn't the most ideal scenario.
-Played the Spronger game before, probably not worth doing it again.
-Dahlen got non-tendered when his QO was less than a mil (Could have got a slight raise in arb, but obviously San Jose didn't want to pay him). I'd give him $1 mil max.
-Yandle, at best, should get the league minimum.

If it was me, I'd be targetting a 1 year cap dump (or two) with assets attached to get to somewhere around $64 mil and continue to get futures. The team (Even after you spent to the cap) is a bottom 10 team (unfortunately, but it's a rebuild!), so spending to the cap would be a major bogey, especially when you consider that you've gone from a cap rich team that will have no issue with extensions, to trying to fit Drysdale, Zegras and Terry (plus 6 more players) in 2023/24 with $21 mil in cap space.
