If he regains his form, then this will be an amazing deal. Otherwise, he could be a $1.25 million AHL player this season.

If it has that potential, why didn't they give him a 2nd, or heck, even 3rd year?

This is the one Army UFA signing of the day that actually makes sense. I would have preferred taking Sturm away from Colorado, but the need for a 4C was real. SO I can certainly live with this one.
