Devils Fans Nemec question

Do you think Nemec will play in the NHL this season. I. Certainly feel like he could and they could even use him on the PP. But he would be on the 3rd D line and Ruff barely plays his 3rd D-line so I wonder if that would do more bad than good for his development or just not let him devel

No. He'd need to have an unreal camp for them to even consider it. He's expected to sign and play in Utica next season, which is terrific. Always better to have prospects close to the team to get more hands-on with their development.

Nemec said he wants to be in North America right away, so it'll be either. If he earns a spot, it'll be NHL.

No. He needs conditioning to North American ice. That's tough for most forwards and even tougher for defenseman. Give him a year in the AHL an maybe a couple call ups if need be
