    Who do you risk losing in this scenario that you need to attach a 2nd to ensure Clutterbuck gets taken?
    Also, if the isles do manage to get Panarin, they are totally back in the playoff picture.

    That Kumelin trade isn't happening. People still think that Isles have to sign Tavares. The bigger question is whether Tavares wants to sign with Isles.

    Clutterbuck is a good soldier and quite frankly captain material for VGK. But I think the Isles need to get out front under his new contract in order to make room for the kids coming up. Other candidates (assuming my other trades didn't happen) include De Haan, Pulock, Hickey or maybe another forward like Nelson. I think the 2nd is worth losing if it meant guaranteeing that roster spot.
