I should have added Hamonic in that trade, NOT deHaan. but this team needs another forward who can be somewhat consistent on a nightly basis. Lee and Tavares can no longer continue to be the ones to carry this team.

I don't think that we should trade Kulemin, he's our best defensve forward and our PK completly fells apart when he's out of the lineup.

If we get Duchene I think that we shouldn't play him on Tavares' wing. I think that we should keep Bailey there since he had a pretty good season in that spot and have Duchene as a 2nd line center to give us two good lines that can score. If we do these moves, I think that our lines should look more like this:

Lee-Tavares-Bailey

Ladd-Duchene-Ho Sang

Nelson-Beauvillier-Strome

Chimera-Cizikas-Clutterbuck

Leddy-Boychuk

Hickey-Hamonic

Pelech-Siedenberg

Mayfield is just to slow to be a regular in the NHL. I would rather have him as a 7th dman that plays when someone gets injured while Pelech is a regular.

I feel that but why are you leaving pulock unprotected... also why in gods name would VAN pay that much for a very expensive 3rd/4th line player

Defensive defensemen dont need to be fast. hes a bottom pairing guy, a big one who's a got a very underrated shot and very physical game, the latter being something the isles have sorely missed in the last few years on the back end.

that being said I agree with you that Duchene is much more valuable down the middle than he is on the wing.

PS I fixed your lines for you
